The last group of people are the ones who always get left behind and they never seem to accomplish anything. They often find themselves at the wrong place at the wrong time doing the wrong things.

They call these people “unlucky.” They can never get it right. No matter what these people do they always meet with futile results. This is like a never ending cycle. They begin to think of themselves as “unworthy” and this thought pattern fuels their sense of low self esteem and they find themselves spiralling downwards at a rapid pace.

Soon, they don’t respect themselves anymore, they second guess themselves and see themselves through other people’s eyes. They see themselves as “victims” and so people see them as victims too. They always get picked on and ridiculed. Some of them in extreme cases become suicidal or even serial rapists and serial killers. They think that the whole world is out to get them and they alienate themselves from society.

There is also a spiritual explanation to this from a Buddhist point of view. In Buddhism we believe in many lives, Karma, rebirth etc. When a person’s bad karma ripens in this life then obviously, that person is going to meet with failure no matter how talented they are or how many opportunities they come across, they sabotage them selves. It is just the way it is. You and I cannot do anything about the Karmic debt we carry from previous lives. There are however certain practices we can do to take away negative karma and negate the ill effects of negative karma through prayers and rituals. The main thing here to remember is that we have to have faith that we are worthy and we can ask the “enlightened beings” to have mercy on us and alleviate our negative karma and suffering. We have to also become very mindful of our actions so we don’t accumulate bad karma for our next life.

Stay Strong and beautiful!

So, as I was saying last week there are people who are instantly successful or at least they seem so. They are ones we call “Lucky”.

The 2nd group of people are the people who have trouble starting the boat but once they do they row all the way to the finish line but maybe sometimes at their own pace. This is due to a few reasons. One of them is that these people are not good planners. They plan the initial part of their success story and then go with the flow. They keep to a plan for a while and then they either get bored or cocky or even lax and so they think they are on track but they don’t realize they have slowed down or have even been pushed off track. But once they realize what has happened they get right back on and then they are more meticulous in their strategy.

Then there are also the Karmic repercussions of previous lives to deal with. If the karmic fruits ripen in this life then no matter how hard you try you will be met with obstacles in the form of people, situations, opportunities lost or even you find yourself inexplicably incapable. This can only be made right by making amends in your current life and doing certain spiritual practices to ward off or negate the effects of negative karma. In Buddhism, there are many such practices and I have been practising them myself with good results and so I can safely recommend them to you.

We have to think of our future lives as well as our present. We have this life to prepare for the next. We must live this life well in order to have another precious human rebirth at the very lease of gain Enlightenment and avoid the circle of life and death. It is up to each of us how we live this life. That is not to say that you have to become a Monk or a Nun and renounce the world. You can have all the material success you want and have all the luxuries you desire but the key is not to get attached to them.

Stay Strong and Beautiful!

There are many people who are successful at this from the word “get go”, then there are some people who have some starting trouble but by February they are getting into gear and then there are the last group of people who never ever manage to do anything to accomplish anything in spite of wanting to and in spite of trying.

It’s finally here, a brand new year and already a month is on its way out. How have you been, how do you feel and has it all been going according to plan? Have you been able to put into motion some of the dreams, wish lists, goals and the list of priorities you had in mind in 2011 for 2012?

There are many people who are successful at this from the word “get go”, then there are some people who have some starting trouble but by February they are getting into gear and then there are the last group of people who never ever manage to do anything to accomplish anything in spite of wanting to and in spite of trying.

I attribute the rates of success of above 3 groups of people to different reasons. Let us take a look at them one by one.

1. People who are successful from the word “get go”. These are people who know what they want and they go after what they want with single minded determination. They also have tons of Good Karma accumulated from previous births. These people are in touch with themselves intrinsically and who plan every step of the way to their goal with meticulous precision and realistic time frames. They have thought about what they want and how they need to get what they want. They are true to themselves and respect themselves and others. They are also charitable, they also have a sense of the Universes, galaxies and supreme enlightened beings that have helped them knowingly or unknowingly to get where they need to go.

They also have the good fortune of “good Karma” which they may know about or not. But the fact remains that we are interdependent beings who lack any independent existence and we have existed in begin less time for eons and through many time periods and have been born and died only to re-incarnate depending on our Karma. Karma is an exhaustive subject so I will not elaborate further. But I will summarize with the statement that Successful people are in “the Zone.”

Stay Strong and Beautiful!

I am sure at some point in your life you have thought about this. All the stuff you have ever done in your life could not have all been good or fair or just or doesn’t leave you with a warm, fuzzy feeling when you think about it now. No one is asking you for an explanation or why you did the things you did. At least I am not. No judgements on 30days360days4u.com.
But I am sure most of you have thought of why you sniffed a line, binged on alcohol, had a one night stand or even deceived your friend for a promotion that you thought you deserved and she did not. All I want to ask you to think about did the “means justify the end”? Was it all worth it in the end? Or has it haunted you in the bottom of your soul where you have buried it all these years? When we do certain things we are so caught up in the moment and we think that that particular motivation to do that particular thing or end result to do that particular something justifies how we accomplish what we want.
For example if you told a guy you were into him just to sleep with him when you were in college just to make you popular with the gals in your peer group, was that the correct thing to do? There is nothing wrong with being popular but the way you get popular is also what counts or do you disagree with me? There is the correct way and the incorrect way. The above example would be an incorrect way, at least in my book.
Sometimes young girls and boys get into the flesh trade because they need the money to look after their families and the means for them justifies the end. I would like to hear from you how you feel about this topic. Write in on the website and leave a comment.
Stay Strong and beautiful!

Yes people, you heard it right.2012 has already begun and that should be the Mantra in your head from today. The thing that is most important is you have to learn to combine the mental process with the actual physical activity so that it materialises sooner than later .I am going to suggest to you a step by step approach for the next 10weeks so that 2012 starts with a bang!

Faith – This factor is the most under rated factor but actually the most important factor if we are to succeed in life. If you have faith in yourself and in other people then you can do it all. Faith has a lot of power and Positivity in it which stimulates the sub conscious mind and that in turn makes things seem possible for you. Once you see that it can be done then you will actually take the action required.

Feasibility – With faith you have to be realistic. If you have faith that you can go to the moon and you don’t train for it then guess what? You will never be able to make that dream a reality. Use your wisdom and your heart. Wisdom in this case means being realistic about what your capabilities are and how your dreams can come to fruition.

Get out of your comfort Zone – In my case, I only used to write songs and perform and act sometimes. If somebody had told me 2 years ago that I would have my won website with a blog that goes out to thousands of people, id tell them they were insane. But here I am doing exactly that. I had to get out of my comfort zone and push the boundaries. But it was still realistic as I had the flair for writing so it did not seem so outrageous. But I definitely had to move my butt and change my thinking a lot.
Integrity – Having integrity is one of the most important things in life. Integrity is so rare these days and we have seen so many of our role models and heroes fall from grace. This makes us wonder where people’s integrity is. Is money and wealth and material success all that matters at the expense of one’s integrity? It certainly seems so if you pick up a newspaper or watch the Reality shows on Television. Money comes and goes but Integrity you take to the grave. Are you going to remember Kim kardashian after she is dead or Martin Luther King?
I will add some more next time. Till then chew on this!!!

All said and done from the responses I have got to my last two blogs, I think I have hit a nerve. That is good and that is why I write this blog for all of you. I want you to think and to start respecting and loving this gift we have called “life”.
It is not as easy as it sounds when I say that you can have all the material success in life and not be attached to it. It is like telling someone who has won the lottery worth 10 million pounds to not be attached to this new found wealth and give it all away to total strangers. It is unthinkable!!! But is it undoable??? People have done it and that is why they are called “philanthropists”. People like Warren Buffet and Bill Gates are perfect examples.
You may argue that they have more than enough and more to give away and maybe you are right but it is still their hard earned money and when you give away something that you have worked all your life for it does pinch you. What sets these so called philanthropists apart from you and me? The answer is that they are unattached. They understand that money is a means to an end.
These wealthy people have all the trappings of success like fancy cars, mansions and beautiful things in life to enjoy but they don’t over emphasize their importance. They enjoy them with non attachment. They use their money to help others because they are self assured and they understand that money is simply “energy” and by sharing that energy unselfishly they contribute to making this world a better place.
They still enjoy their holidays and fabulous food and wardrobes and all the good things they can afford to indulge in but all these trappings do not define them. That is the difference between being attached and being not attached.
Stay Strong and beautiful!

When I talk to people about “life after death” I get this weird look and the most common verbal reaction is an expletive and then they go “are you nuts?’ Most people find it difficult to digest having countless lives but we have enough tangible proof out there that make believers out of many sceptics.
I am from India and I was brought up Catholic. My father was a very strict and devout Catholic and my mum followed close on his heels. We never could question the Church on anything as we had to have “blind faith”. So I had many questions all through my life. 2 decades later I encountered Tibetan Buddhism and my life has been enriched, meaningful and my unanswered questions have been answered.
Why is it so important for us to live our lives being mindful that we are just in another body and once we die we will be reborn in a new body? Because it is a fact and we have known this for centuries but the Catholic church has denied it for many reasons, the most important being “power”. Just like the concept of “karma” also exists in the Church. It says in the Bible “as you sow, so shall you reap”, analyze this sentence and you will understand what Christ said. He was talking about karma.
So, with all the trappings of wealth and worldly success if your mind and soul are lacking and you have strong attachment to material things and people and if you will do anything to make your money and will do whatever it takes to climb up the social ladder of success despite how it negatively effects you and those around you, then you do need to give this concept some serious thought. Ask yourself the question, ‘Am I living my present life keeping in mind my next life?’ and ‘What should I change in my life and myself in order to have a happy and higher re-birth?’
Here is a parting tip – You can have all the dollars, lovers, material success et al this world and that is great as long as you are not attached to it. Think about that!!
Stay Strong and Beautiful!

This is somewhat a continuation of the blog I last wrote about Death of Steve Jobs. I have been following the newspapers and the radio and the Television channels et al. As the days go by the tributes have grown smaller and the time and space devoted in the media to Steve Jobs portrayed as one of the biggest innovators and one of the giants of the Computer world has all but come to an end.
This raises the question. Was it all so worth it? Yes! When you leave a legacy behind like Steve Jobs you are bound to leave your mark on the world in terms of the achievement and how it benefits others and what it means to people but still it doesn’t mean that you are immortal. In fact people will remember what you have created but they will forget you. That’s just the way it goes!
What about you? We have all the self help and motivational speakers’ tom toming the “Individual” as the most important and they constantly focus on the here and now and how you should seize your moment. I am fine with all that. You should live your life to the fullest and enjoy the wealth you have created. But when you start to think you have only “one life” to live then there is a huge problem. You don not have only one life to live and you must be careful about how you live this life.
If it were only about this life, life would be a walk in the park. But we are fooling ourselves if we think that. There are so many reasons to believe otherwise. There are even studies done by brilliant doctors like Dr. Brian Weiss who has proven that “past lives” do exist. He was a shrink who believed in pure science but after his chance encounter with his patient, Catherine in his book “many lives, many masters” it made him a believer.
So, how do you want to live your life from today?
Stay strong and Beautiful!

Today is a sad day in the modern world, especially in the world of technology and most especially for “apple” fans. Steve Jobs the co-founder succumbed to pancreatic cancer after being diagnosed 5 years earlier. We have all seen him change physically over the years as a result of the illness and even though we never knew all the details of his illness we all knew he was ill. Never the less, his death comes as a shock. He was a genius and a committed individual at that.
What was so special about Steve Jobs that we can take with us from this sad event? Well, it was that Death actually motivated him to be a better person and he strived to provide people with the best possible technology. He accumulated a cult status for Mac/apple products. Most of us have at least one if not all apple products.Apple products are status symbols.
Steve Jobs knew he was dying a few years earlier and so he put everything he had into his work, his legacy. Death didn’t scare him as much as to prevent him from working so hard that we often forgot that this man had a terminal illness. I guess even he was so consumed by it all that the cancer was not so important after all. Steve was special in the fact that he never let anything get in his way of his single minded determination to change the face of technology and he came through time and time again and never failed to make his mark over and over again.
Death usually makes people scared, irrational and emotional, induces self pity and breaks a person down completely. The very thought of dying scares people even more than the actual fact that they are dying. Fear here is the key word. Fear paralyses people in their tracks. But if we start understanding our value on this planet and how even the most average person has something extraordinary to offer then we can live our best and be prepared for death.
Stay Strong and Beautiful!

The kind of healing I am talking about is not going to a doctor and getting a prescription. It goes far more deep than that. I am talking about healing your spirit and your sub conscious that is the PC of your entire being. It is a super computer and stores all the memories and experiences that you have had in your life since the womb.
A lot of things that happen to us, both good and bad influence the kind of people we become. We are constantly being shaped by peer groups, family and the environment we live in. Every second of the day we are changing. The past is very critical in the way we develop in the future. All of us are shaped by our childhood. Some of us have had painful experiences in our childhood and since the conscious mind wants to protect us always, the painful memories are stored in the subconscious mind. They stayed buried here but they are not necessarily cured.
A lot of bad habits, physical illnesses, mental problems and personality dis orders stem from these painful memories in our sub conscious and manifest as real life, visible problems. These in turn get magnified if not treated correctly. Medication from a doctor for headaches is just treating a symptom but for these headaches to go you have to treat the cause which could be psychological. Getting to the root of this problem will lead to the headaches going away for good. Different people react differently to different situations in life.
Being a Pranic and energy healer and an EFT Practioner I ca safely say that a lot of my patients have been cured for good after a few sessions, whereas, prior to treatment with me they were on medication for years with no relief. Try a session and see for yourself. It is Magic and will help you lead a more fulfilling life.
Stay Strong and Beautiful!
